The quick-and-easy asphalt for quick repair work
Being 100% solvent-free and recyclable, REaktivAsphalt reacts with pure water. It is suitable for cold-processing, exclusively composed of natural raw materials and hardens after simply being sprayed with water. After a short time only, it has the same properties as a standard hot mix. REaktivAsphalt is the ideal, low-cost solution for repairing potholes and frost damage or for filling cracks and joints or for covering larger surfaces as well as the perfect solution for every DIY enthusiast. It can be used quickly and does not require any machinery. The result is the same as standard asphalt.
The all-round Asphalt.
Since REPHALT is a cold mix, the repaired surfaces can be opened to traffic again immediately after compacting. As an all-year asphalt, REPHALT is both heat- and frost-resistant and can be used for roads of all load categories, with layer thicknesses up to 50mm (1.9 in).
Material required: 25 kg for 1 m² (10.8 sq. ft.) with a layer thickness of 1 cm (0.4 in)
Evaluated in the US
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) completed its six month evaluation of a test site constructed using VIALIT’S Rephalt patching material and has added the material to Virginia’s approved list of “High Quality Cold Patch Materials.” The updated approved list will be published shortly and a link will be posted.
