Active Rust Primer 662 SG is a one-pack environmentally harmless water-soluble acrylic copolymer primer designed for application under extreme marine conditions. Our customers use variable surface preparation methods from ST 1 to SA 2.0 or equivalent standards by means of hydro jetting.
Our over 10 year long experience demonstrates that using our primer extends paint intervals to twice as long as without primer. It also makes the work easier to plan.
Shipping companies like Bergesen Worldwide Gas ASA started using our product in 1995 and now use it throughout most of their fleet. Frontline Ltd. began using our primer in the ballast tanks of three VLCC. Later, they added another 4 ships to its list of full ballast tanks upgrades with Active Rust Primer 662 SG.
Our Primer is a green product: a fully WATER-SOLUBLE ANTI-CORROSIVE PRIMER with VOC of only 20 g/l = 2%
